HMS operates on the model of a private-client professional services firm: a small senior team, a deliberately limited client base, and a fee structure aligned with the work, not the close. We say no to engagements where we cannot add disproportionate value, and we structure relationships so that depth, rather than scale, is what is on offer.

The firm's founding principal brings more than twenty years of senior management consulting experience at a premier global advisory firm, in its Banking and Capital Markets practice. The work spanned due diligence and M&A advisory, risk management, operational excellence, wealth and financial management, and regulatory transformation for complex financial institutions. The principal previously held Series 7 securities registration, contributing direct working knowledge of the broker-dealer side of financial services to HMS's coordination practice.
In parallel, the principal has spent two decades as an active investor and operator in private real estate, with personal experience spanning acquisition through long-term hold across multiple asset classes. That ground-level fluency — distinct from purely theoretical advisory — is the foundation of HMS's practice.
By design, HMS does not maintain a public profile of its leadership; relationships build through the work, and discretion is part of the value we offer. Prospective clients are welcome to meet in person or by video call as part of an introductory consultation.
